Welcome to the sunny South of Südtirol to the land of Castles, Lakes and Wine.
The Guesthouse is owned by our family 1959 and it’s located on the wine road and surrounded by wine yards and Apple Threes. Just a few kilometres distance from the main city of the Region Bolzano and located in a area known for the wine but also for the many Castles, Lakes and beautiful landscape.
Girlan - the village is located at 440m asl on a plateau at the east side of the South Tyrolean wine route and benefits from a great number of sunshine hours per day.
Its the perfect starting point for excursions and visits to the most important attractions of the region: the Lakes of Montiggl and Kaltern. 'Messners-Mountain-Museum MMM' on the Firmian Castle, the museum of the Iceman 'Ötzi' in Bolzano, the wonderful gardens of the Trautmannsdorf Castle near Merano. The mighty mountains in the Dolomites, the famous valley of Valgardena/Gröden and the Lake Garda or the Arena in Verona.
Hotel Wastl’s Guesthouse offers very cosy and clean room of European standard. The huge Yard and the Outdoor Pool invites our guests to relax.
In our little restaurant “Speck Stube”, you will find home style kitchen and typical products from the Region, as well of course the excellent South Tyrolean Wines.

With this Guest Pass you can enjoy all public transport, such as the train in South Tyrol, all local buses, the lift facilities to San Genesio, Renon, Meltina, Verano, the tram to the Renon, as well as the cable car to the Mendola mountain.
